Volvo, already well-known as an industry leader in vehicle safety, is taking its reputation up a notch with the newly implemented Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) system. SPA is designed to revolutionize safe driving, not only in Volvo’s native Sweden, but all over the world.
With a lightweight (yet extremely resilient) hot-formed boron-steel frame and electrically connected safety and dynamics systems – the auto manufacturer is hoping that by 2020, death or serious injury from auto accidents will be a thing of the past for new Volvo drivers.
